What We Do

Conservation

SCI Chapters often partner with state or provincial agencies to sponsor on-the-ground conservation initiatives. Through these efforts, many local wildlife conservation projects are completed.

Humanitarian

SCI Pittsburgh Chapter is passionate about helping those in need by supporting the following 2 programs.

SPORTSMEN AGAINST HUNGER

SCI Pittsburgh Chapter helps prepare meals and makes monetary donations to help local shelters provide food for the needy.

BLUEBAG PROGRAM

The SafariCare Blue Bags are filled by the SCI Pittsburgh Chapter and individual members. The contents may include medical, educational, and other relief supplies, or clothing and toys. The Blue Bag is taken to remote areas of the world by hunters who have planned hunts in these regions. The supplies are delivered directly to villages, clinics, orphanages and schools, doctors, caretakers and teachers to use with people in need.
